Consignment Policy and Schedule
HOW TO CONSIGN WITH US
WHAT WE WILL ACCEPT:
Clothing items must be a current style and no more then 2 years old. All clothing must be cleaned, pressed and on a hanger.
We won’t accept items faded, with spots, tears, holes, broken zippers or missing buttons or altered in any way.
Accessories such as purses, hats, shoes and jewelry must be in like-new condition.
Household items must be clean and in good condition; no chips, stains or broken parts. The Wright Stuff Consignment Shop reserves the right to reject items that we do not feel will be a good seller in our store. We reserve the right to donate any item that does not meet our quality standards at anytime during our processing time.
ALL ITEMS WE RECEIVE ARE CHECKED IN 3 DIFFERENT STAGES YOUR ITEMS WILL BE DONATED AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE IF POLICY IS NOT FOLLOWED
RE-OPEN SCHEDULE OF WHEN WE ACCEPT MERCHANDISE:
We will accept your merchandise on Tuesdays and Wednesday of each week BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
HOW TO BRING US YOUR CONSIGNMENTS
* Items will only be recieved at our back door. Please drive to our parking lot located in the back of the building.
*Pull into the closest parking spot to the door.
*Call 245-2106 or Ring the door bell (return to your car)
*Someone will come to your car, check you in and take your items to consign.
(There will be no entry to the store from the back door)
*Wait in your car until we return.
HOW WE PRICE YOUR MERCHANDISE:
The Wright Stuff Consignment Shop wants you to get the most for your items. Our staff is well educated on pricing your items at a rate that will most likely result in a sale. We do allow our consignors to set their own price on items valued over $100 and if the price is agreeable with our staff.
Items of High Value: Items of high quality and high value- It is the responsibility of the consignor to let our staff know that you have a valuable item and what the fair market value is.
HOW YOU WILL GET PAID:
We pay our Consignors for their items sold per the Consignors Agreement. We will go over the details of our Consignment Agreement at the time you sign the agreement and given an account number.
Generally, we pay our consignors once a month at a rate of 60% - The Wright Stuff and 40% to our consignors. We do NOT charge a handling fee or a fee to open an account with us. Consignors may collect on their account by coming into our store and requesting an account balance and a check. We prefer not to give account information out over the phone. NO CHECKS ARE WRITTEN IN JANUARY (TAX AND INVENTORY PURPOSES)
WHAT IF MY ITEM DOESN'T SELL:
We do an exceptional job with our quality clothing and merchandise along with our friendly customer service that we make every effort to sell your items for a fair value. We will keep your item at full price for 30 days, after 30 days there may be a markdown for another 30 days, after 60 days the item will receive a final markdown and removed from the floor after 90 days. Consignor’s may pick up their unsold items at any time prior to the 90 days. There is a $1 fee per item picked-up before the 90 days. All unclaimed items are donated to charity or receive a further reduction and sold to cover stocking and processing fees.

Spring Clothing - Starting January 2nd to April 24th
Summer Clothing- Starting January 22nd to July 23rd
EASTER - January 2nd to April 3rd
May, June & July 2020
4th of July items- Reopen date
HALLOWEEN - July 23rd - September 11th
Summer Items Continues until July 23rd
4th of July Items Ends June 6th
Derby items- Reopen
August & September 2020
Light Fall Clothing starting August 6th - September 25th
October - December 2020
October 1st - December 11th accepting Winter Items
December 1st- No longer taking Christmas Items
Please NOTE: We will not be accepting any consignment's for the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
